to foster the reputation of Thomas Tomkins as one of England’s finest composers
to encourage performance, awareness, knowledge, and enjoyment of Tomkins’ music at all levels
to organise and present concerts and recitals of the works of Tomkins and complementary music
to undertake and encourage research into the music, musical context, biography, and cultural context of Tomkins
to undertake and encourage research and practical investigation into relevant organological topics
to organise and present workshops, tours, and colloquia at which knowledge of Tomkins and related topics can be shared and furthered
to view Tomkins in the context of the music of Renaissance England, and in turn of the wider historical and European contexts
to use all possible influence to ensure appropriate monuments to and commemoration of Tomkins
to promote friendship and fellowship, courtesy and caritas, taking the character of Thomas Tomkins as an example, and the works of the Master as an inspiration
